Be impeccable with your word!
All of my life, as far back as I can recall I have always enjoyed this word “impeccable”
... I love what it means... what it stands for, and I lOve how it feels rolling off of my tongue.
Be impeccable with your word was something I (at age 6) would say to my friends with a smile on my face, one raised eyebrow and a glint in my eye whenever they ran around with apologies ... I’d smile ha!
Oh and how does that make you feel ? I would say to them ... ha ha ha the sweet honest and brave little me 😍 looking back I smile as I read the pages on my book during this morning’s tea. 🙃🐎
I always knew from a young child that I preferred a “constant” smile on my heart ...and all the trimmings that went with abundance and with cultivating that result ... instead of apologizing and instead of all the negative vibration and baggage which went with the residue of not delivering. ..
oddly enough (and fortunately) I always found/find it easier to be of sound and reliable word - my Yes is always a real yes and my No is always a real no ...I’d never say a yes to something (or to anyone) and deliver in my action a no. - it was .. it IS always important to me that my words and my actions were - are a match. I always strive for accuracy from and within myself and I have always found it easier to live a life that delivered... truth AND accuracy matters :o !
Naturally this was also what I would say to myself anytime I faltered or anytime I missed a finish line and day by day, year by year, decade by decade I grew into making more shots and less .. (then no) misses at all :o) it’s an effort filled blessing (I promise it’s one of the very best kinds).
Yes sure, we may falter ... sure we may slip, but when we start with an aim for the stars imagine where we land when we meet a bump or hiccup. ... exactly!
Go on Make the effort - you are worth the higher vibration it will create within, around & surrounding your life. Give yourself and others the gift of truth and accuracy. You are worth it - It’s beauty is indescribable 🌴
Be impeccable with your word - Yes I am ! ... and I have to write out loud to say that I also especially love the “quality” of sleep (and of life) my being this way returns to me - ah some of those gifts that truly matter - 🐎🙏🙃
Our class theme this week, I invite you to really think of this - I am Eternally Grateful and I trust you are too.
Stay blessed xo, S
It would be sensible to also note that Discretion is no less important within “friendships. .
*** Do NOT underestimate the power of your friendships ...
Uhuh-um let me repeat that ~> do NOT underestimate the significance AND power of discretion :o
.. ~> actually it is especially significant to practice it within the space of everyday friendships.
Oh boy on many a good old day discretion has saved our necks ...
saved our business...
saved our pockets...
saved our lives. ..
♥️ Discretion 🛶.
Never leave home without it :o !

What students are saying...
"I attended Life by Yoga's classes in a past Harlem location, while vacationing in NYC. From the time I entered the space I was impressed. I can still remember how it felt just walking in - it was great... calming, very thought through, warm & inviting. The props provided were in good condition too. Hey it was my first time practicing yoga and while exploring plenty of yoga spots in NYC - I was told about Life by Yoga's special difference by a friend. During the classes I was walked through each pose in a very patient & compassionate way. They were attentive to my needs, and as well as to the needs of the others in the class.
As a novice - so many of the yoga stretches were way beyond my capabilities :o - but I was given modifications, specific to my body structure and at the end of class I left feeling challenged, refreshed, enlightened and spiritually activated.
So for my entire 6 week stay, I kept going back for more. You betcha'... every time I return to NYC, wherever they're located, I will absolutely be found attending Life by Yoga classes. Definitely one of New York City's best kept secrets" - Rodney V Payne.
